Layer Cake Sampler QAL Week 8 {Blocks 15 & 16}

It's Friday, and that means it is time for another set of Layer Cake Sampler blocks :)  I hope you are still enjoying the quilt along, because I just love to see everyone's blocks come together! Block 15:

I love the diamond shape that is created with the background fabric in this one.  Below are some other layout options.

      

Block 16:

After I pieced this block, I started to play with the other potential layouts...I really need to start doing that BEFORE I piece my blocks!  I love all three of the options below better than the one above.  Oh well, I'm not unpicking to re-do it now.  Lesson learned!
